Ascendys offers a range of outplacement services which are tailored to the needs of each organisation and individual. Once we have analysed your challenges, our outplacement programmes will be designed to meet with your needs and budgets, many programmes will involve one or more of the following options:
Individual (one-to-one) Outplacement
Ascendys one-to-one outplacement service is designed to provide a personal level of support to a range of individuals from different backgrounds and with varying levels of work experience and professional standing, facing career change or redundancy. Delivered by a professional consultant, our support is designed to help individuals take control of their future career. The programme combines high levels of individual guidance and practical advice, focussing on the key issues of finding employment and/or achieving career change. Ongoing counselling and coaching is an integral part of the programme.
One-to-one Outplacement Support
Ascendys provides independent practical advice, together with proactive support and encouragement, designed to increase confidence, self esteem and enhance self awareness. Individuals benefit from face to face meetings backed up by telephone and email support. Features of our individual outplacement programmes include:
- Meetings at a location to suit the candidate
- Evaluation of current career situation, direction planning, and the development of a personal marketing strategy with a particular emphasis on networking and the hidden job market
- CV development, producing a range of CV's, if necessary
- Job search skills - adverts, agencies, search firms

Executive Outplacement Support
The Ascendys Executive outplacement programme offers support for senior executives, middle management and technical experts. It is generally provided on an individual basis, but it can also be tailored for smaller groups and audiences. Our consultant will normally provide the programme on site, or at your preferred location. The outplacement programme is always tailored to meet the specific circumstances and requirements, following considerable consultation, but typically covers:
- Career planning
- Career guidance and development
- CV development, producing a range of CV's, if necessary
- Organisational and individual development
- Assistance with selecting suitable recruitment agencies, networking and access to the hidden job market
- Behavioural Profiling
- Follow-up consultation and mentoring covering any aspect of the job search process

Group Support
For larger projects you may benefit from our on-site Group Support. For this we offer half or one day workshops for up to 12 participants. As always, the service is tailored to your needs and budget but typically covers:

- CV preparation to reflect achievements and selling points.
